The mission of the OPRN Mentoring Program is to provide a supportive atmosphere for OPRN members who have recently entered the research profession, recently moved to a new geographic area, and/or recently changed positions, by pairing them in one-to-one relationships with OPRN members willing to share their professional knowledge and expertise.
If you’re interested in becoming a mentor or mentee, please email the OPRN Mentoring Program Coordinator and be sure to provide your name, title, institution, phone number, email, a brief description of your experience in the field, and whether you’d like to be a mentor or mentee.
Note: All mentors and mentees must be both current members of OPRN and willing to make a one-year commitment to the program. Mentoring may consist of telephone or e-mail meetings and, whenever possible, face-to-face meetings.
